Frequently Asked Questions
Which devices are compatible?
Talk2TV works with any device that supports Bluetooth HID (Human Interface Device) protocol, including most Smart TVs, streaming devices (Fire TV, Roku, etc.), computers, and game consoles.
Do I need an internet connection?
No! The app works completely offline once installed. Speech-to-text processing happens locally on your device, and communication with your TV is via Bluetooth.
Is my voice data recorded?
No! Voice processing happens entirely on your device using your phone's built-in speech recognition. We never record, store, or transmit your voice data.
Can I use this with multiple TVs?
Yes! The app saves all previously connected devices. You can easily switch between devices from the connection status page.
Which languages are supported for speech recognition?
The app supports all languages available in your device's speech recognition engine. You can change the language in the Settings page.
Does the app drain battery?
Talk2TV is optimized for minimal battery usage. Bluetooth HID connection uses low energy, and speech recognition is only active when you press the microphone button.
